yeah at one point it i had installed a pair of 8000k HID's... now it has been awhile and i've notice that my head lights are pure white. at first i was like wtf...i thought theres suppose to be some blue as i remembered. i tried thinking hard but only came to a conclusion maybe after awhile the HID's loses its blue color....sounds weird but can it be true?? im running a pair of 10000k HID's for my fog lights and the all the blue is still there. hmm oh well.

 

Yeah they tend to lose their color. You can see it a lot in older TL's. Their light they put out almost looks pink. I remember on a friends Cadillac an oem HID bulb blew out and he went to the dealer to get it replaced. The new bulbs color was way off from the other when they were the same bulb. I had a pair of 10k myself and they dulled off after about 8 months.

 

aw damn i have 10k for my fog lights but...i just installed them replacing 3k. thinking about replacing my so called 8k bulb for 10k..looks pretty damn nice at night man...

 

my 10k is kind of faded as well but oh well lol i kinda like it
