D16a6 head onto D15B2 block
Ok honda heads, I need a little clarification. I have been reading my azz off on here and D-series.org; I cannot find a definate answer. Now please, don't say, go B=series, its's a D, waste of time, etc etc etc. I am just looking for an answer and some helpful hints. Regardless, onto the topic at hand. I am looking to put an A6 head and cam onto my D15b2 bottom end. I like the idea of shorter stroke, quicker to top end, etc etc; so no 1.6 bottom end, that out of the equation. Now, using the A6 head and cam I need the A6 timing belt, but my cam timing will be off ~4*, using a Y7/Y8 cam gear, I will be brought back to snuff. Do I still use the A6 timing belt? due to the head deck height, or do i use the Y7/Y8 timing belt due to changing the cam gear. Sometimes this **** gets so confusing. . . .anyone got an answer, that is supported in writing somewhere, maybe im just using the wrong search criteria?. . .
Sorry for the length of this and I hope it

Well, I believe that the A6 head and B2 head are the same. The main difference between the DX and Si engines (besides the block) is the camshaft and intake manifold. If I'm correct with this info, and please anyone speak up if I'm not, you'd just use your existing belt.
