Someone tried to grab my 92 Honda Civic Si. They broke apart the steering column and tried to start it. I had taken some clips apart in the engine bay area and since it did not start they ditched it. I hate thieves. I will be ready if they come back. I hate dealing with this at my apartment complex. I'm just wanting to get rid of the car now before they can do something else to it.

 

damn, at least they didn't run off with it. So thats a plus....but living in a apartment complex is hard and not having a garage to keep your car a little safer. Keep an eye out tho, they might come back for it....maybe with a flatbed or something crazy.

Yeah you know Thieves there way to greedy to leave it alone. I just want to sell the car and get rid of it fast since its a clean stock Si from the Original Owner.

Some dipshit tried to steal my car while me and my friend went to the gas station for some smokes... by the time we got back he had a slim jim down the passanger side window (no direct light on that side of the driveway) when we got back we chased him down, my friend carries a 1911 .45 cal (lives in miami) and he didnt run too far, cops took their time getting there, but he didnt get my car that night, just a ride to jail. Sad thing is the kid was 17, this was almost 2 years ago, so its probably off his record and hes most likely still doing the same thing..

 

Yeah I had my vehicle broken into before as well. They stole my system and broke the window ever since then the car stays in the garage and alarm and garage is alarmed....I know what you mean some dipshits always got to have what you got....nice car

 

Yea, my friend put an expensive radio in his car.. and obviously someone tried to steal it... he pit razor blades in between the radio and the console of the car... he came out to his car and there was blood everywhere.. the radio was still there but i guess the guy was pissed cuz all the windows were smashed.

 

everyone on honda tech should spend some time reading on the audio/security forum there are some very smart people there. i sleep better at night because of the stuff i learned and applied to my car. it didnt cost much either, i spent about the same amount as some lca's from ebay and i know everyone can afford them because everyone around my way has them. for the same price you can get something much more functional, a little peace of mind.

I think I will have to take my losses and get rid of it quite before it gets taken.
