Default NEED HELP EXPERTS PLEASE!!!!

just picked up a jem of a car 88 crx si rust free and im doing a dohc zc swap this weekend and im planning to daily this car so it needs to have ac. ive got a d series compressor but no bracket. my question is what ac bracket do i need from what car or will any d series be the same? its prolly a stupid question but i want to be sure before i go buy one

for a dohc ZC your a/c compressor and bracket will probably need to come from an 86-89 integra. The one from a sohc d-series may or may not line up.

well if id seen that i would have read it already. i did however do a search and nothing worth a **** came up. so now i have 2 different answers one says find a crx bracket and compressor and the other says 89 teggy bracket and compressor

That's why it's called the FAQ-Frequently Asked Questions

My first guess would've been 89 integra bracket also, but when my buddy was swapping my DOHC ZC a number of years ago into my car, he asked me if I wanted him to switch the AC stuff over to the DOHC ZC. I guess from that you can assume that the stock D stuff will work which is further backed up by the FAQ.
