d15 to d16, help!
i put in a mpfi d16a6 into a dpfi 91 std. civic.

it cranks over but no spark. it was throwing code 15 in short flashes, so i changed the wiring a lil and ran a few wires straight to the ecu and it is not giving me a code but still no spark. the two yellow wires are going to the ecu and are connected to two white wires.

also i have some wires that i do not know if they are needed or where they may go
the two on the bottom of this connector

or these
any help is greatly appreciated :D
thanks

actually i did all that wiring for him. thanks for taking the credit :] anyway those 2 yellow wires on the distributer go to the pins b15 and b17 on the ecu plug for the ignition coil. i figured if i straight connected it then i would know that was not the issue. what are the best ways to check the distributer. and i doubt it is that since i ran this engine less than 3 months ago in my crx si with no problems but hey maybe something happened when it was sitting.
oh and it was throwing the code 15 but now it has stopped after i ran those ignition coil wires directly. the odd thing is that the code was 15 short flashes as bradpee had said, instead of 1 long flash then 5 short flashes. the ecu is out of a 1988 crx si. in 88 did they throw codes different or what?

and how do i test my dizzy?</TD></TR></TABLE>
OBD0 ecus do that with the flashes.
Make sure it is making spark, double check wire order, and then you can get into testing the igniter if its not working.

trying to use the Si harness on a DPFI car is not a good idea - you are missing a 6-pin connector on the chassis harness on the passenger side - what are the 2 yellow wires connecting to at the distributor? - the white wires at B15 and B17 connect together inside the harness and become one white wire which is the igniter wire in the distributor - the igniter wire is the white wire on the outside edge in line with the clip on the connector in the second picture

as i had stated before i got code 15 in short flashes on the ecu and the two yellow wires at the dizzy are going straight to the ecu as also stated wich got rid of the code. but i still have no spark as i also stated before.
on the second to last picture there is the six wire plug with a yellow and white one not connected to anything, is the white wire for the ignitor and that is why i have no spark? and/if so what should it connect to?

so if i get this right i solder the 2 white wires from the dizzy back to the harness like before then i solder the wires from pins b15 and b17 together then solder them to the white wire on the 6 pin connector?
