i recently pulled a d15b7 out of my 1992 civic dx and installed a new d16z6 with stage 2 clutch and a new computer that came with the engine.

i run it down the road and when i park it a very thin black fluid leaks from the transaxle some where and i was wonder is the 10w-30 i put in it is thick enough or not???
can any one help???

and yes the is my first honda and engine swap

 

Are you sure its your tranny? because when i thought mine was leaking, it was actually the Oil pan. BUT if you believe its the tranny where its leaking, the axle seals may be leaking.

I run 10w30 in my tranny and its been fine.
