i just bough a civic and the check engine light is on does anyone know where the diagnosis box is located in the car so i can run a check on it. thanks a lot.

 

diagnosis box? lol, thats so old school. welcome to OBD2 and the need for a scanner. It's located in the bottom right of the dash, where the center console meets the bottom of the dash on the drivers side. no jumping pins and counting light flashes, you just plug in a scanner and read the code.
