Default First Car

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I didn't see any introduction thread or anything like that.

So I bought my first car and it's a 1994 Honda Civic DX.

I got it, and the SRS Light wouldn't shut off. So I did a search and I found it and fixed it! Thanks HT!

Next, some pictures I took with the cell phone:

I also have a question, does anyone know how to fix the seatbelt? It's really annoying. It doesn't slide in all the way and it's twisted.

Sorry for the long post.

this thread is border line acceptable for a first post but since you asked a tech question it should be ok. congrats on making your first car a civic. do the world a favor and dont drive it like an *******. these cars dont hold up well in a high speed crash. be responsible. as for your question about seat belts. if they dont retract. find some at a junk yard that do.

the most important thing you need for your car is a factory manual (not haynes )get it here. you need to register first. good luck.

this is a must!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info. I will check out the manuals!

Sorry about your car, that sucks! It's a shame people resort to stealing other peoples hard earned stuff.

I remember reading in a thread that NOFX said that Honda will replace/fix faulty seat belt assemblies for free, IIRC.

i bought an 88 crx about a year ago and both the seatbelts were locked up. i got paid to install my own new seatbelts. so i got paid to install free parts on a 19 year old car at the time.
