Default TIG and exhaust tubing

For 16ga 304 stainless exhaust tubing, whats the favorite in terms of # of passes and filler? I've seen single fusion pass, single pass with filler, and 2 passes with filler. My custom exhaust I had made up 5 years ago was just fusion weld, and its held up great, even though looking from the inside now I see that only 50% of it was full penetration. I'm guessing 2 passes with filler is the norm?

thanks

Yeah, really no need to do 2 passes on 16g stuff.

This is exactly it. Works great. Somewhere between 30 and 40 amps.

Thanks guys, 3+ so I'll take it . So far I've had good luck with 50a, but I dont' know if I'd get a puddle going with less (Miller Syncrowave 200) unless I'm there for days. Or are you starting it with 50 and then dropping down?. Using 2% thoriated 1/16.
