Default B16a/B18c1 block difference

I have a B16 shortblock and access to everything from a B18c1 except for the block itself (i have the head, crank, pistons, rods, etc) Will b18c rods/pistons fit in the B16a? What will swap over and what won't? Would it just be best to build a b16a bottom end/b18c head? Thanks for the help.....hope its not stupid question.

Nope, the deck heights are different between the two blocks. The B18C is a few mm. taller.

B16 heads flo better than the B18 heads. Just look at the B18c5's....

Would it just be best to build a b16a bottom end/b18c head?

And there's no such thing as a stupid question....

So would a B16 bottom/B18c head be making less power than a stock B16a?

pistons will fit, but compression will be lower. rods wont fit on the b16 crank, and the b18 crank wont fit in the b16. the head will pop right on. i prefer gsr heads to b16 heads myself.
