Default Supercharger for LS motor

Hey does anyone know about a supercharger kit for the integra ls motor? I have a 1994 Del Sol with an LS motor and i was thinking of a supercharger, but cant seem to find any websites with kits for an LS. Any suggestions?

sounds like fun. there not alot of supercharged hondas around. imagine the throttle response you will have and all that torque. i thought of putting one on my b20z. post a link in this thread if you find a good deal. ls/b20 uses the same super charger. good luck.

Not many people do it for a reason. Superchargers suck on honda motors unless you're happy blowing lots of cash for a little more oomph.

i agree. having a honda doent mean you need to be the fastest. my car isnt the fastest around by far and i still love driving it. with a supercharger i think it would be that much more fun. good for you for thinking outside the box.

used JRSC can be had for around a grand on ebay. With some GOOD efi tuning that would be a hella sweet ride for the street,....not insane, but reliable and quick without having to rev it to its death. [freak], now i want one.

I know where you're coming from. I bought my Type R motor and everyone told me to buy a GSR, or buy an LS and build it blah blah blah blah. Well screw them I said, I bought the Type R, and I am absolutely in love, I am so glad I didn't go with what everyone said.

I am also going to go with a supercharger, Jackson racing makes pretty much the only roots kits for Hondas, comptech and a few other companies make centrifical superchargers for our cars.

http://www.mossperformance.com sells the Jackson racing kits. Everyone will bach the supercharger, but you don't need a turbo, the JRSC has excellent torque, instant boost, and new superchargers were just released that are more efficient. Not to mention, I priced out a JRSC high boost kit, with gauges and all that crap, and it cost $2500 less than the turbo kit I wanted to go with. Granted, this was a good turbo kit, not some POS home made turbo with PCV piping and all that crap. It was a Full Race AC kit, with injectors, tuning, and a Hondata s300.

yeah nothing beats the feel of a stock type R motor.. its really reliable ill give you that.. but if you want raw power than a built gsr or ls vtec will be much faster than a stock type R. but like I said noone here can build a better motor in their garage then honda..

I Have a turbo civic and I'll be honest if I had to do it again I would have done the Vortech supercharger you can boost the hell out of it (I've seen 15psi) extremely reliable, you can put inter-cooler with blow off. So be different whatever suits your style of driving. This is a picture of my setup before I Finished it.

I don't have any current pictures because I have the motor out of the car for rebuild. This picture is about 2 years old.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet... but FYI, Jackson Racing no longer makes an B18B1 or B18A1 super charger.
