Need advice on SPARK PLUGS CONDITION; 01 F23A1 (260 000km)
While doing some maintenance work on my car, wich is a 2001 Accord coupe EX, v-tec, (manual trans.); i noticed a little something about my spark plugs that i "maybe" never noticed before, apart for the oil on the seat..
The car has 258 ***km , sparks plugs have been in for about 25 000km, give or take. Almost always gazed up with regular 87 octane, 4-5k km oil change with mineral Castrol 5w30 oil, regular air filter change too. Spark plugs used are NGK G-Power.
On this picture you may notice that spark plug #2 has some kind of burning mark above the metal part where you put on the socket

On this one, you may see that plug #2, again, has oil on the seal ring.. What would cause this exactly?

On this one you can see the general condition of the plugs, as always the tips are pretty white (always been like that since i ride it). Generally speaking; what does that color means (i cannot remember- too hot in the combustion chambers?)

another

Any imput would be pretty appreciated

I like how indepth you are on your topic. For me the plugs dont look that bad. Good rule of thunb if its not running bad why change them.I have also seen that burning, brown stuff on side of plugs. Not shure what causes it but nothin to worry about. The oil on the seals is probably bad tube seals
