recently ive been working on an engine build as most of you may know. im plannin on using a d16z6 bottom end with a b16a2 head and an lsd h22 tranny with a itr v-tec soulnoid (sp?)...... my friend did this back in 97 and he said it ran 12s spinnin all the way down the track in his 94 accord. the way i figure it i have a 96 coupe and its liter and i figure itlll AT LEAST run 10s..... maybe 9s.

heres the thing my v-tec isnt workin anymore and im wondering if it has sumthing to do with the fact that its a ported soulnoid (sp?) on an non ported head.

but will all this work 2gether if i can get v-tec to work?

Yeah man. You'll run 9s no problem.

 

Youll be lucky to run a 9 second eighth mile. Prolly around 15 second quarter mile. This is a damn joke... it has to be.

I hope you know what ur doing because you CANNOT I repeat CANNOT mate these different series together.. this is funny.. maybe with an h22 long block you can go H2b and get a b series tranny but thats wit a conversion kit.. ur friend must be lying to you about his setup or something.. but seriously is this a joke??

^i think the 92-95 cx tranny would be better for that setup

 

Just go with a TH400 and be done with it.

Make sure a reputable shop does the porting on the solenoid and you'll be good to go.

Nah man, you can drill that out yourself.

 

dont forget to use jdm fuses...
