Default 91 hatch w/b16 swap want more power

I really want to go all motor and have 200 to the wheels.

I have a b16a1 with a pr3 ecu obdo vtec on my hatchback si

The only thing I have is a carb legal aem intake, it has a blox intake manifold which im going to change for a skunk2 model. Was thinking of using the skunks2 stage 1 cams goods for about 10hp I hope. Going to install an high flow exhuast. It still has the stock hatchback one. I think I can make some power with the new one. Also thinking of changing out the throttle body..

future plans:

DC 4-1 carb legal header
high flow exhaust
skunk2 intake manifold
skunk2 cam and adjustable cam gears
bigger & better throttle body.


I want to keep the car smog legal, everyone know cali is a bitch for that ..

Any suggestions hit me up...

First thing to do is get it BARRED... You will need:

P30-A00 ECU
ECU jumper harness *Depending on REF, Some don't like them.*
OBD-1 Dizzy *B16 or GSR*
OBD-1 Throttle body. * I passed with a GSR, But the nipple for the Charchol canister bent to the left instead of bending straight up. Needs MAP sensor*
CARB Legal Skunk2 Intake Manifold
OBD-1 Thermostat housing *Again depending on REF*
Electric VSS *Again depending on REF*
DATA LINK CONNECTOR *Again depending on REF*

A stock B16 on a dyno here in Cali will produce 120-135 HP to the wheels... 200 is alot to ask for and still stay CARB approved.


I have a S2 IM, DC header,and a S2 Cat-Back. I barely noticed a difference in power... But I had 2 stage 2 STI's for a year and a half, and everything I drive feels slow compaired to them...

The State REFS like when you go to them to get your car BARRED without a ticket from the police. IMO they wont nit-pick as much...

A bolt on b16 will never even be close to 200, like at all.

While there are a few ways to make good power and stay cali **** legal, most of the time you will just pick legal or fast.

Why are you swapping one ITR styled copy intake mani for another?

Want over 200whp in a B16? Take a look at my sig

Other than nitrous, good luck making anywhere close to that in a B16.

When I put on a 92-95 throttle body from a del sol or gsr I will need to mount the map sensor on the throttle body, will the stock plug work..

REMEMBER IM IN CALI AND NEED TO PUT ON A CARB LEGAL INTAKE MANIFOLD...

also I can nos the bitch with a 50 wet shot and be almost good for 200hp. Hehehe

or turbo it a 5-6lbs of boost

or just supercharge it...

All thoughts running thru my head...
