Default CRX Shuts Itself Off

Hey guys.

I ran into a problem with my 89 CRX HF (all stock) yesterday.
It was hot, I was driving home on the highway, pushed the clutch in to downshift for stopped traffic, and the engine killed itself.
I've been noticing that when it's warmer outside (75+ degrees), when I downshift the battery light will flicker on and then turn back off when I let the clutch out.
But it actually killed itself twice yesterday. It turns right back on after it dies.
Any ideas? I've had the car for 4 years now, and have never experienced anything like this through the winter months... Battery is new as of 3 months ago too.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

B

If you battery light is coming on then it would be your alternator. I would also look into a main relay. Also might be a ignitor. Those are the things I would look at.

i agree with Toad; especially the main relay under the dash. You might be bumping it ever so slightly when your clutching. My relay was so beat I just had to hit a decent bump and the car would cut out.
