Default Navigation Question

Hello,

I have a 2008 civic si with the honda factory navigation system. I was wondering if there is a way to bypass the initial bootup screen where it says "obey traffic laws blablabla" then you have to push "ok" to get passed it. Anyway around this? It would be nice if it just went right into the system automatically without having to say "ok" every time. Thanks for the help.

No there is not.
There WAS a hack for the TL system BUT not currently for the civic system.

you CAN change the welcome screen from "honda" to whatever you want.

ok. it just seemed like a stupid thing for the software to do every single time. its not "hard" to hit ok, its just annoying and unecessary.

Did you notice the navi is slow as heck too? I was using a tomtom the other day, and was like wth? This thing is way quicker than my navi. That's sad too.

Here is what I mean:
I have MDX 2003 with mulfunctioning navigation (does not exept dealer code from serial on the back, by the way maybe you know how to fix it? Will going through 10,000 posible combinations will do it or not or is there easier way?)

I'm planning to buy navigation from MDX 2004 (the only one I could find), I need to know if it will work for my car. It looks identical to mine.

Thank you for your replies.
