tire recommendation for 15' rota
I'm putting 15 rota track r's on my 94 rs. car is lowered on springs. I have been told that 195/55-15 will look just fine and will not give me any rubbing problems in the rear. Is this accurate or can someone recommend a better tire. I also have no clue as to what brand I will use.

The best 15" sizes for Integras are 195/55-15 (the stock size for the GS-R, SE, and Type R) and 205/50-15. Don't use 195/50-15, which is TOO SMALL (that's a good size for pre-'96 Civics, which had tiny 13" tires from the factory, but not for Integras).

Since you're in San Diego, I assume you never drive in snow, so you don't need all-season tires. If you just want good treadlife and value, get the Kumho SPT or Yokohama S.drive, in 195/55-15 or 205/50-15. If you want the very best traction on dry pavement and you don't care all that much about treadlife or rain traction, get the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec in 195/55-15.

The Nitto NeoGen is an all-season tire. It's an okay choice for both of you, since you live in Maryland and you need to occasionally drive in snow. But there are better choices (summer tires) for someone in San Diego, who never drives in snow.

These folks need all-season tires, which are a compromise; they have the flexibility to be used in a wider range of weather, but they're not as good in winter as true winter tires and they're not as good the rest of the year as summer tires such as those mentioned above. For these folks, I recommend the Kumho ASX in 195/55-15, 205/50-15, 205/45-16, and 205/40-17. For those with 14" wheels, I recommend the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position in 195/60-14.
All of these tires are reasonably priced, and are the best you can get for your money in each of these categories, IMHO. You can get them shipped from places like Tire Rack, Discount Tire (whose higher prices are offset by free shipping), and Vulcan Tire.

mostly daily driving, but i will also take it out and run the f*** out of it from week to week. mainly drags until I dial in the suspension. i was considering 205's as well but i just dont want to have problems with the rear rubbing.

Right. Rubbing should not be a problem with 205/50-15, even if your car is reasonably lowered (by up to 2"). Even though 205/50-15 is wider than the stock tire size, it's also slightly smaller in diameter.

That's TOO BIG for an Integra. And there are NO advantages to that size, compared with 205/50-15, which won't rub, will make your car accelerate faster, and also has more choices of better (and less expensive) tires.

The Falken Ziex is a cheap, crappy all-season tire. Its only virtues are that (a) it's cheap, and (b) since it's an all-season, it isn't dreadful in snow, like most summer tires are. NOT recommended for anyone living in areas where it never snows; even inexpensive summer tires will give you MUCH better performance at all times.

Kumho makes a lot of tires with the "Ecsta" name on them - everything from their excellent Ecsta V710 R compound track tire, to their great "bang for the buck" Ecsta SPT summer tire, to their crappy Ecsta Supra 712 summer tire, to their very good Ecsta ASX all-season tire for those who drive at least occasionally in snow, to their crappy Ecsta AST all-season tire.
