Finding TDC on my 90 DX
So I'm very confused... I went to adjust the valve clearance as part of my tune-up yesterday and had the hardest time finding TDC. Here's why:

My engine's identification plate state's that it is a d15b2, which is the 16 valve 1.5L. So I should naturally follow the diagram labeled "except 1.6L", right? Well I pull my valve cover off, look at the camshaft pulley, and it matches the diagram labeled "1.6L". So which do I follow? Is it possible that my engine block is from a d15b2 and the head is from a d16a6 or some other kind of 1.6? Basically I need to know which diagram to go by to get TDC correct?

I don't know... I've looked at 3 different manuals and they all match my camshaft gear with the Si 1.6. Besides why would the factory use this gear if your not even suppose to use the 3rd notch and I even have the back plate with the pointer to match up with. What about this... When the crankshaft pulley is at TDC should the no. 1 piston be at TDC with the camshaft pulley in the "up" position? Should they match?
If you have a 1.5 then you match the marks with the head to be at TDC. If you have not take off the timing belt then line up the crank to tdc with the cam gear "up". By lining up the crank you will see where the marks on the cam will line up. Like stated already some of the cam gears have all marks. Yes when it is at TDC the no.1 piston will be up, and the valves on #1 will be closed.
