raspy sound after installing testpipe

Default raspy sound after installing testpipe

I've got a b16a2 with jasma header apexi 2.5" catback ws2 muffler sounded great until yesterday i installed skunk2 test pipe now i'm getting a ricey buzzing sound

thats why you keep the stock cat. and it'll sound good.

thats what comes with the "5 - 10 hp gain!" of a test pipe.


IMO: test pipe = waste of money.

I doubt people are picking up 5-10 hp with testpipes..

To tone the sound down a little you might need to get a resonator or re-install your catalytic converter.

Test pipe = raspy, to fix it, you need to put a cat back in, or possibly a resonator would clean it up as well.

lmao. Thats what happens when you install a test pipe! Take the test pipe off and put the cat back on. Then, sell the test pipe to someone and tell them it was shown to add 15 whp on a ford mustang, so it will be even better in a civic!
