Would it be worth removing the cat and the other silencer thats in front of the differential and installing an o2 simulator. It probably wouldn't cost more than about 120 dollars and it wouls probably sound a bit meaner. Any suggestions would be apreciated.

 

Im guessing you have the stock exhaust ?

Well ive heard the resonator cut off and it sounds a little differnent nothing crazy, but haven't heard with the test pipe !

So basiaclly you want to run a straight pipe from the header back to the OEM mufflers? Might sound funny and backfire.

I dont have cat on either of my civic and they don't smell. And my S Im doing the same hopefully this weekend !

caues it's true hahaha. i had a stright pipe on my turbo civic.. and damn that **** stunk.. hahahaha.a.

 

Mine was to and it didn't smell I guess working at a shop for 2 years and, go to the track you get use to the smell of exhaust !

My TP on my GSR wasnt all that gross smelling - and I actually didnt mind it at all when I did smell it. It will be louder, yes. Power wise, eh...the stock exhaust flows well already. It wont do much at all. But if you are looking for a project, go for it.
