Hard gas pedal.throttle cable?
The initial press of the gas pedal on my car is real stiff. Its almost like the pedal is glued to something and i have to break the bond on it. Makes not riding the clutch harder because once i do brake this bond, the amount of force needed to press the gas pedal makes my rpms go above 1500 rpms.
would a new throttle cable fix the problem? ive lubed some of the pivot areas under the dash but it doesnt seem to do anything.

I think it could be due to ''too much torque''
I kidd, i kidd..
No seriously though pop the hood.. and follow the throttle cable and check it out..
If you've lube'd under the dash try lubing the actual throttle cable under the hood.
