HELP-- locked only key in trunk of del sol!
Pretty much what the topic says, i was working on my del sol today, had a blonde moment and locked my key in the trunk of my del sol. unfortunately there is only one key so i'm stumped.
I pulled the storage compartments and everything off the back bulkhead, but i'm not sure what i need to remove to get through to the back, if its even possible... please anyone. the worst part is i'm supposed to be moving to texas on friday and i would like to not have to pay 150 bucks to get a locksmith to pick the lock.
thanks in advance guys.

My '93 don't. Just a gas and (front) hood latch.
I can lock it WITH THE KEY at the personal trunk in the cabin, but if I locked it in the trunk, I'd be toast.
I'd go with the dealer, and get at least 2 keys made, and leave one at home.
Good Luck!

I have seen replacement tail lights fairly cheap on occassion. You could bust your right tail light out, reach in and pop the latch. I'm assuming the linkage deal is exposed on the Del Sol's key latch, like it is on a regular Civic. You're talking at least $20 for a tail light then, plus time and labor...
I guess it depends on how far the dealer is then.
Personally I wouldn't break the car, unless absolutely necessary.
and I have to add, no matter what, get at least one spare key, and keep it at home.
