it is measured in inches of mercury (inhg). I will be honest there is no way in hell that your gsr is pulling 29inhg. I live in texas which is pretty much sea level and I get about 23inhg. of course health of a motor has a great deal on this but even 25inhg is pushing it a little bit. higher elevations will have lower vacuum cause the air is not as dense. If I were you i would get a new gauge, in fact what manufacturer of gauge are you using?

its idle is just a lil under 1k rpm.... ive used 3 different gauges to comfirm.. glow gauge, and 2 autometer gauges. i thought it was psi but i will check in the morning its a boost gauge with the vacuum.. i plan on putting a turbo kit on just wanted to check and, see if you guys thought that was high. thanks for the input so far.
