Ok, my family is in Canada right now on vacation, there seems to be a problem with their 2007 Honda Odyssey. The coolant keeps running low and they can smell it in the exhaust, what is this problem and how can it be fixed asap? Is there a short temp fix for them to get it home and then get fixed? They have to head home tomorrow, so need to figure something out tonight, no dealers are open, please help asap

They could have blown an intake manifold gasket, blown a head gasket, or even have a warped/cracked head.

They should check the oil to see if it's looking milky, if so, it's probably got to do with the head...

I assume they're still under warranty, call up Honda to see if there's something that can be done since they're in Canada. Under no circumstances would i recommend driving it any distance. Wait till tomorrow, and start making phone calls. Sorry.
