I know a member, Saso, on occasion runs a hybrid hatch with about 26 psi on the street... but don't know if he still does.

 

If you are talking about psi level for turbo, 8 psi sounds good

 

8-9lbs on a b18 motor is the highest i would recommend on stock internals.

 

tru 8-10 lbs on stock internals but also depends on your elevation and on your temperature.

 

i dont think 14psi on standalone tuned well is unreasonable.

are you talking stock internals or not? I meant stock internals fyi.

 

With a Haltech, Hondata or similar engine management, larger injectos and a couple other fuel/ignition upgrades, you should be able to run 10-12 psi on a stock bottom end (B series) easily. Someone on the board runs 10 psi daily on a D16 totally stock internals with Hondata and above mentioned parts... no problem. Tuning takes you a LONG way. I ran 10 psi daily on my B18B with stock internals....

gsr turbo, possible ? will it be reliable for a daily driven car ? how much will it cost to fix up to motor to handle around 20lbs of boost ? what else will i need to watch the car for detonating. Thanks !
