Default Some Supra work I did this week-end

Well, here is some 4" 304 tubing for a Supra. Made a DP and a mid-pipe. The back of the exhaust is a titanium piece.
Pretty big stuff, but it all fits pretty easy.

Before:
3.5" mild steel DP

Some nice welds on the 02 boss that was way too close to the turbo

New boss welded about 20" from turbo, and the aftermarket wideband is back another 6".

Complete new 4" DP with a flex coupling.

Some v-band welds...

Matching 4" mid-pipe

Some installed pics...

And the car, bad pic, but whatever.

Like power? He said 600hp, wants 1000hp. Not sure he'll get it on that turbo. It's a built bottom-end, revs to 9000.
Hasn't driven in 4.5yrs. He was frustrated with the last guy's work, and poor tuning.
Dual BOV's and a massive wastegate.

It's actually 3.5". The Ti exhaust is 3.5". It tapers from 4-3.5 at that end, and it is welded to a 3.5" 3 bolt flange recycled from the last mid-pipe.
Thanks for the compliments, I'm getting a little better everyday. I found this stuff a bit of a pain to fit. As soon as I would cut it, it would go out of round by 1/8"-1/4". Glad I have lots of vessel fitting experience.
Just never really noticed it much on the 2.5" and 3".

Amazing how much more room the Supra has than the IS300, makes life a lot easier.

Looks good!

Yes, there is room in there to do it right. I was kind of surprised myself on how straight forward it was to fit together. No swearing.

The shiny covering will fall off. I didn't put them there, and they showed no sign of melting when he drove it the week-end before and to my place.
Who knows.

Could you point me in the right direction for the threaded O2 boss? I have a toyota pickup and need to replace my secondary O2 sensor. I ordered the oem style with the flange. Thing is the truck has an aftermarket exhaust and the previous owner (or shop he paid to do it) welded the old oem sensor directly to the exhaust.

I would like to install the new one correctly.

Thanks!

Also damn awesome work.

I wish I could help, I have mine made for me by a local machinist.
Check with any exhaust place on the net, they should have them.
Anybody else have any suggestioons?

No problemo. I figure I will just take a piece of flat stock and measure out the hole for the o2 and the two screws. Then just drill and tap the two holes for some bolts and call it a day. :D

This is the fab forum right?

Yes, it's a 6spd car. Not sure of the turbo, couldn't get anything off of the housing as it sits.
