no one won the bet I think it continues for the montreal event. But all in all it was a pretty decent event.

I believe his best pass was 9.666 @ 15X.XXmph but don't quote me on that.

Our driver Serge Turcotte did (the DSM powered Mirage).

All 4 pro cars had mechanical problems. We qualified first with an 8.56@162MPH but soon found out that the tranny was in very bad shape. Paul ran really slow all day, in the 10's or 11's, something was probably wrong with his car also?

So the less broken car won I guess. Our tranny barely lived for 2 more passes. We beat Paul in the semis with a 9.01@120MPH lifting way, way early and then we beat Maxwell in the finals with a 9.27 lifting early and with no burnout whatsoever and wet slicks.

We've been running the exact same tranny since the beginning of 2007. She had a good life I guess...

Since there was no mention of it either, we finished 2nd in the 1st event in Cayuga and ran our record passes with an 8.47@169 and an 8.48@169. I also think that Serge is now first in the points for the Pro class.

Yup. Magnus motor parts, Magnus race intake, Magnus fuel rails just to name a few.

Marco always steered us right. I really like the guy!

He went 11.8X @ 11X.XXmph i believe? Pretty much stock K20 with cams/manifold/header. Very consistent driver.

hey....i was running great all day i entered the street class and finish second cause a driveshaft popped out during the burnout in the final, and finishe second in the pro all motor class cause i couldnt make the final there....

i think the clocks at the track were'nt working properly cause i feel the car was running better then it showed

11.95@111mph
11.87@109mph
11.87@110mph

maybe it's just me but car has gone 11.80@115mph and i just put in a tilton twin disk and the car feels much much better and quicker...anyways overall it was a great day and good even

fastest run the sunfire went was 11.3, car alost went into the wall so hes taking care of those issues.

As for track times i know the mph was completely different from cayuga , alot of guys were lossing 10mph up there vs cayuga.

it was a wild weekend. qualified #2 with a 9.557@156mph. new set up (bigger injectors and new head). we had problems all day but it all worked out all right. the final was the mirage and us, as soon as i started i saw the volt gauge @ 10 volts and after the burnout it went to just below 8 volts the fuel pumps almost stopped. but we still finished #2 for the day. learned alot from the datalog. we are looking for 8's this weekend

low voltage = low fuel pressure...

Good luck, I've been talking with Mike too.

The next few weeks/months could be historic ...

Sure I remember. In fact, I tought it was down right offensive to peek fun at Serge's dad for tripping over the guard rail and playing it over and over like 5 times!! You sure had your camera handy for that moment but somehow, all the videos from the final where we beat Paul vanished. Funny thing, huh?

I peek at your forum once in a while and the "frenchy" comments are also getting old. Yeah, we'll make a bet for the fastest SSPA car in the 9's AS LONG AS IT'S NOT A FRENCHY. Meh!

I dunno what the deal is with the internet bashing cause all the racers, organisers and spectators we meet are always very nice and very cool!!

What I mean to say is that rivalery is a good thing, as long as we keep a minimum of respect.

Anywho, that was my venting for today. Hope to see you guys in Quebec for the next CSCS event. I'll do all I can to attract the most people possible to make this next event a success.

Who knows, maybe we could get 2 events in Quebec for 2009?

wasnt offensive we were by the stands talking about it myself and his dad i even told him i caught you on cam. anways i been routing for you guys at every event. Frenchy comments from the rest are not about u its mostly people talking about the white 240 or the sspa , i guess they all need indipendent names.

Never really noticed i didnt put the ones of you guys beating paul not really a funny thing that they werent there pretty much what i see uploaded in front that looks best on my cam taking into consideration which car is closest ect is what i use. i do recall going over these clips from the last run and looks like i do have you guys giving it so that will be up.

See u at the next event frenchy
