Default SH w/ chipped p28 ECU

ok, i was thinking about running a chipped p28 ecu and boomslang OBII > OBI harness in my 01' SH...other than losing the atts what other negative effects can i expect and do you guys think this is a good move??

nothing other then the lugging around the ATTS. But I wish I went with a p72 for the secondaries.

Unless you need to tune, this is a waste. Don't switch to obd1 for the sake of it.

i planned on adding a euro r manifold next to my i/h/e and get the ecu tuned for track/autox use mainly..lateron i was gonna start some head work. hence the need for the ecu

If you track and autox the car, you definitely don't want to lose ATTS. It's worth a ton of time over an open diff. I'd go for Greddy Emanage Ultimate. It lets you directly control timing and fuel (not by messing with the map signal).

OT: I'm in the process of finding a solution to the SH obd1 problem. There's only one circuit that gets in the way.

if i autox i would probably use the stock ecu so i could take advantage of the atts still..

With just bolt-ons you wouldn't *need* to change ECUs.
