Default Help: Idle too low

I'm having idling issues with my 5th gen. It idles too low, around 450-500 rpm.
I've tried adjusting the idle with the idle screw and the rpm doesnt even change.

Where do i start now?

So adjusting the screw doesn't do anything, but what happens if you take the idle screw out all together? You might also check and see if the inside of the throttle body needs to be cleaned.

well i didnt take it out completely, but the screw was pretty much all the way out, and the idle went down a bit.

at that point inside the throttle body, the lower port, there was air flow/vacuum.
