I came across F22, F23, H23 engines in my local junk yard and all in good condition. The only thing all are auto tranny motors are they still useful with the manual tranny. I'm not really sure of this but a friend told me just to find a manual tranny motor to swap.

 

IMO go with an h2b set up, theres write up all over H-T on the ins and outs of it

 

Thanks but can i use the motor from a auto tranny? Will the manual h22 tranny mount up to the motor?

 

I found the answer to my own question, but here is another about ecus, which is better for the h22 or h23 vtec a chipped p28 or p72 ecu.

 

i would say either, its more a matter of preference, if it were me id go with a p28
