Default I have a ? about mouting headlights in an aftermarket front fairing w/o tabs

Looking at getting something like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...le:us

Maybe a different paint scheme but my biggest issue is how to mount the headlights? They don't have the tabs to mount the lights and you can't just bolt them in there or anything because the lights will stick out like 3" or 4".

So what do you do?

I don't know how RC51's are, but on my bike and many others, the headlight bolts up to the bike and the front fairing would just go over it..

On the RC the lights are mounted to the fairing by 3 tabs on the stock ones. I think im going to just buy a Cheetah race body thats made for the streets. It comes with tabs in there it just cost more and no paint on it..but its about 7-8 lbs lighter then stock so..

I have heard that Cheetah body work does not fit so great, same with Hot Bodies.

Shouldn't be much of an issue. I build race cars and make the bodies out of flat sheet metal so I have plenty of experience on fitment. lol

Yea, because sheet metal is exactly like molded plastic!

So I remember when you first bought it, I asked, "so what color do you plan on painting it after you crash it?" And you got super-defensive.

But, my question still stands, what color are you going to paint it?
