Default Gauges

I have a EG civic D16z6 and am just fitting Oil temp and oil pressure gauge i understand how to fit the oil pressure but where should i put the oil temp. i have been told to drill the sump is there some where else i can put it the sensor thread is 3/8 BSP female was considering makes and adaptor for the sump plug so oil falls in to a small chamber with sensor in. As sump plug is M14 1.5 pitch. Help me pls cos dont realy want to have to take sump off.

go to napa or whaever and get a "T" brass fitting that goes into ur oil sensor, put the T and put oil pressure sensor on one side, the oil temp in the other

the sensor is big 8mm dia by 40mm long will i get a good reading there
