I did it!! Threw everything useless out the car!!
Some will say it's a shame wasting a good SiR (EDM) but I want the car to be as light as possible.. I only regret not buying that B18c3 when I had the chance..I would have had one ***** fast n/a road warrior..

wow thats f-in cool now you need to strip the sound deading. An I noticed you have the seats I am gettin,,how do you like em?they look nicer then I thought.
Seats are very very nice and give so much support. Though I had to make my own brackets to fit the original rail onto the seats, all in a day work. I made them from massive aluminium plate 435x35x8mm
Can you take some pics of the seat mounts you made. I am in the process of doing the same and would like to see if your way is better than mine
remove the console aroung the shift. It looks sexy to me. And take some dry ice to that sound deadining material. Drunken monkey, how did you remove your deadining?
heat gun an those flat spackel spatualua lookin things.Dry ice is the #1 way to do it.I was just to lazy to go find some.

umm my understanding is sparco makes universal rails.
The black stuff is easy to remove.. it's dried out and can be removed in an hour.. top
Who did your cage? It doesn't look like they did a very good job in regards to the harness mounts....They should mount at an angle closer to straight back, and they shouldn't be as long...but whatever.
I suggest you keep your door panels.. Or you can fabricate up something from sheetmetal. Here's an idea of what I did with my full race CRX.

But of course, that was on a door that was entirely gutted out, and cut apart.

Can you take some pics of how the rear straps for the harnesses are mounted? I'm having a hard time finding a good location in my crx. Thanks
very cool REX VT... just make sure you get the rest of the bars padded.
You may even want to just spot weld the feet to the chassis for extra support. nice cage.

I did everything myself.. rear harness mount is not perfect yet, I know..bolted it to backseat harness mount..
Thanks.. will be done as the whole chassis will be welded through

what kindda cage is that anyways? the front looks kindda like an autopower but overall i think it's a kirk racing cage. am i right? i was thinking about ordering a kirk racing one but never seen one in a crx. is this it?
Actually I don't know because I took it from a rex that had been used for racing for two-seasons.. It's FIA approved if I weld it to the floor..
The foglight comes stock on EDM CRX 1.6i VTEC (SiR)

Aww man
, I want everything your car comes w/ but your taking it out while I'm trying to add it to mine. It's all good though. Keep us posted on your progress and times. Oh, and do you think you could get me a rear fog set-up. Been trying to get one for 3 years and no luck. Good luck on the project.
