axle trouble

on the driver side of my eg im havin trouble removeing the axle to replace it do i have to remove the half shaft or no?

no leave the half shaft. just stick a big pry bar against it and break that sucker loose. theres a circle clip that holds it in there. you really got to work at it but itll go.

Sometimes you can spray somethin in there to help it come out. I've even used screwdrivers basically to pry it out, just work it out.
