Glove compartment?

Does anyone know how to lock the glove compartment in a 98 civic sig... i havent been able to figure it out... theres no keyhole on the compartment

why do they call it a glove compartment anyways?? does anyone actually keep there gloves in there? haha

anyways, no lock on the door?? is it supposed to lock?

haha... it should lock... most vehicles i've been in allow you to lock it....
