anyone with a clutch Alignment Tool ?

Default anyone with a clutch Alignment Tool ?

i need to borrow the little tool that lets you align the clutch when installing a new clutch.

i have the exedy clutch. not sure if that matter.

ef 91 civic manual.

im located in socal. need to borrow it asap.

you can buy at local auto shop for cheap and excedy should have came with one good luck

yeah it did. at the time, i had it installed at a local shop. they tossed it, i didnt think i was going to need it again. so i didnt ask for it either. oh well stupid me.


i was curious. if i dont align it up with the tool will i be able to still get the tranny hooked up to the block still?

the reason i ask is i didnt remember about the alignment tool and i have been trying to install the tranny to the block. it will mate up sometimes and when it does the clutch arm wont move. i am hoping its just the alignment. the only other thing i can think of is that i did just change out the throwout bearing and i hope its the correct one. the new throw out bearing looks kinda of different from the old one. im just assuming its cause the manufacturer is different. it does look very similiar but the inner center part is just a tad bit shorter then the oem one i have.
i did double check the place i ordered it from to make sure but who knows.

they look almost the same but very very slightly different.

no it wont line up! you NEED that tool! UNLESS you are REALLY PRO and can do it with your finger by feeling on it, but i doubt that.

I've done it with out the tooll but its a pain in the ***.. and the engine was out of the car..
Go to autozone.. they will lend you one if your not an ******* to them.
just bring your clutch in with you to get the right one...
