it is functional and yes show me a iceman intake sorta teh same design and itll be just as good....the wider part to teh smaller part increases teh velocity of teh sir witch in turn increases ur HP top end

The filter looks like the ones you can get at autozone; I think that takes away from it's appeal. I still like a stock box with jDm! drop-in...

really? I'd like to see that proof if you still have it...It seems to me this is a more functional design. Perhaps if the piping were longer it would do better.

 

Another US company made an intake similar to that. According to the design it serves no purpose to "rush" in cold air to the throttle a) the opening restricts it from allowing a larger flow to enter. b) even if a larger flow enters, an uneven distributon goes to the trottlebody c) the larger center does jack ****.
