Some trucker backed into my car, destroying my carbonfiber hood and damaging the bumper. Can you guys please help me identify the name of this part:

There is two of them, they are metal, are behing the bumper, and attach the bumper to the car. I am thinking is called the bumper stay, but from the online catalogs they don't look the same. Thanks in advance.

 

bumper reinforcement and/or the bumper retainer? not quite sure what you are looking for here

 

The bumper support brackets are the ones that attach to the radiator support, they're metal.

Can you give us the year/model of the car?
If you post the picture... it's going to help as well.

 

It is a 1997 accord with the V6 motor. I will try to take a picture tomorrow when the sun is out. Thanks

Awsome graph, The one I was looking at located at http://www.hondrparts.com was not as detailed. I need to replace part #8, called the bumper stay as some had mentioned earlier. Thanks again.
