i feel like this is a noobie question
well how about this one, say you ran one of those shitty ebay "chipped" ecus for a month or two, and then swapped back to stock could anything have been harmed?
Depends on the tune of the specific chip. Some of the so called stock power adder chips may cause your O2 sensor to get fouled up by running rich. As well if you have an EGR system to get clogged up prematurely due to excess fuel/carbon. Most times it's nothing that a little cleaning wouldn't fix. As I said though it depends on the tune of the chip.
Anything specific that you are having some sort of problem with? Any CEL codes?

i have a really shitty idle problem that i cant quite figure out, i was throwing a code for vtec selenoid valve before i had the idle problem, i just changed the vtec selenoid and after that i've had a horrible idle problem and then its just been sitting in the driveway for about a month due to me not having enough time to really do much with it. Ready to get it back on the road now. i'll check for cel's in the morning, have to get a new battery this one is shot.
appreciate any replies
