For those who wonder about "spoon" chips on eBay.....
I have a friend of mine who bought a chip and used the burn1 to read what was on the chip and this is what he got as a "spoon" h22 chip.
forewarning to tuners......this may make you cringe.

apparently someone thinks they can download the "p13" map from pgmfi and think it works completely and throw in some random *** ignition numbers with a high rev limiter...
reason # 123214125344536675685432323212 to steer clear of eBay products.

knowing what i know now though i wouldnt ever ever do that again.

Ok, looking at the original "Spoon" bin and from the little I know about Crome maps, it's obvious the fuel tables are a joke and the VTEC ignition table is super aggresive at high to mid vacuum.
Aside from this and the high rev limit, can you guys point out other "issues" which I may have missed by visual inspection?

I understand that but my focus is on a deeper understanding of ECU fuel and ignition maps

unless crome has changed recently the numbers shown in the fuel maps for p13 bins are not the actual fuel values. the fuel values are calculated on the fly, though the numbers in those maps i believe are used in the calculation of such values.
The fuel tables in those maps are obviously a joke. That is not the biggest problem, however. The load values are screwed up beyond belief.

Load values should progress from the column with the highest vacuum in column 1 to the least vacuum in column 10. Note that the load values in columns 4 & 6 are identical.
The load values are all over the place without rhyme or reason. The ECU running that map would be so confused that it would have a psychotic break

I always knew those chips were crap and wondered if anybody seriously bought them. I just wish i knew what the flip i was looking at in those tables up top
