Default turn signals don't work but emergency flasher don't HELP!!

going home the other night and turned my signal on and it clicks but the lights on the dash doesn't work neither does the bulbs but when I push the button for my emergency flashers everything works fine inside and out. Not sure what to start looking for so I thought I would post up to see if anyone else has had this problem. I'm thinking maybe just the switch but not sure. The car is a 93 dx hatch

Fuse... just replace it with a spare and you're good...

Wow thanks. I haven't worked on it yet to fix it and that probably wouldn't have even crossed my mind to check first Hopefully that's it I'll go check it now.

I know man usually it's the first thing I wold check on someone elses car if I'm working on it but usually when it's mine it's always something bad. maybe I got lucky this time. Unless when I put the new fuse in all my wires go up in smoke

What else could be the problem if the hazards work, but the turn signals do not operate from the switch. The hazards had originally not been working, nor the tail lights. I replaced the fuse under the dash for those and then they all started working. The turn signals still do not work off of the switch though. I checked the rest of the fuse and they are good. Could the brain that controls them have failed on me? What are the chances of that?
