I have a 1998 auto honda prelude. i recently started noticing that when i step on the gas i start hearing some rattling coming from my engine..kinda sounds like my rocker arms are loose. or something.but i do know the sound is coming out of my Engine head.. when i step on the gas and the car starts picken up it then starts to rattle inside the head and then it seems to throw a white cloud of smoke out my tail pipe. i heard there is such thing as adjusting ur valves or something in ur head if u start to hear clicking noises when u rev up ur engine to about 2,000-2,500 rpms. thats what my car does also

 

how much white smoke? are u sure its white? because white is a headgasket problem (coolant is being burnt) whereas if it's blue its oil.. is it right when you start driving? it could just be the condensation in your exhaust that collected overnight being turned into steam

 

So do a valve adjustment....
