short ram vs. cold air ...this has to be quite possibly one of the earliest/longest debates in the automotive enthusiast community. There's way too much information littered ALL OVER this board.....please search....please...

You could say that about quite a few cars that have a CAI(waste of $$$), but the Si responds quite well to a quality CAI.

They aren't all junk but most OEM products are far better quality & last longer.

Exactly. Most...but not all. OEM products are certainly safer to use. But there are most definitely quality aftermarket parts that are just as good if not better than SOME oem parts.

I wouldnt say most, turbo cars with a c.a.i is a waste of money, but a n.a car will respond decently, I just think they overexagurate their numbers.

I'd go with a cold air intake. The injen cold air is probably the most popular.

it is true, injen CAI seems like the most popular.

I would go with an SRI if you have your car super chargered and live in a rainy place, just to be safe.
