Okay so I'm using a latch and old skool trunk release from a 97 teg because the 98+ trunk actuators are trash. The problem I'm having is the cluster always says the hatch is open even though its not. I cant plug in the 1-wire sensor thats for the trunk light into my 98+ harness because the 98+ utilizes a large plug with several wires. what can I do to get the light to turn off???? thanks

 

u can also do it ghetto style just take out the bulb in the cluster...

 

true but the car will still think it's open and it screws with my alarm
