welll anyhow.. my antenna is really pissing me off.. when it goes up.. it makes a weird *** sqeaking sound.. and when it goes down.. it keeps on going down.. like.. it makes a loud sqeaking sound and it keeps on trying to go down further when it cant. I've tried to lubercate it and it still makes funny noises.

is there a way i can cut the antenna power cable?? how?? where?

Buy a new one... or pull the wire harness from the base of it.

 

there is a wire going to your antenna, i think its blue? anyway, i just used a switch sitting around my house, and wired it in line. i made a little mount and put it by my rear strut tower, so you have to pop the panel to turn it on, but i never listen to the radio. if you do, you could mount the switch anywhere.

 

yellow/green (It will be blue if you have an aftermarket headunit; but the factory wiring will still be the same color)
