Default ITR Seats

There was a topic in here about taking ITR seats and putting them into an EK. He said that they were not bolt on. He did a DIY on how to put the ITR seats int he EK. Had to take off uphostry on the seats and put them on the EK frame.

ANyone have a link to this topic, and would it work with EG seats?

Thanks

fronts or rears? or both?

fronts i believe you just swap out the seat rails, and the rears im not positive about on the 92-95 civics. is it a hatch, coupe, sedan?

Nope, the backrests bolt up right into a 92-95 Civic HB. I had them in my old hatch.

Fixed?

I have a 93 Civic HB

Dunno I find your contradicting yourself?

To get answer I need, simple questions.

Will Type-R rear seats fit in my EG either by modding them like in other Topic, or they will just bolt right in?

Haha, my bad. I don't know what I was thinking.

The ITR backrests do you bolt fine without mod into a 92-95 hatch

to make them fit in the rear you need the two door top and four door bottom seats so you wont have any gaps or else if you use the two door bottom you will have gaps

So your telling me if I take just DC2 rear seats and put them into my EG h/b, there will be a gap?

Could I not fix this by removing the frames from the cusions and using the stock frames. JUst like in the topic mentioned before.

there will be a gap between the bottom of the backs and lower bench portion.

i'm not sure if you could just re-wrap the EG seats with the ITR covers. the ITR (usdm) has a plastic tray in the middle of bench.

search long and hard to find yourself the ITR 4-door bottom.

here's a pic of mine with the 2-door tops, and 4-door bottom:
