ok i have a b18 im wanting to up grade some nothing big just simple things any suggestions and where can i get the parts from any good sites i cant find anything but also this is my first honda so some help would be really appreciated thanks

depends on your power goals, you could stay around standard bolt ons like I/H/E or if you want to have more power you can build your motor internally, run boost, or whatever

short shifter Skunk 2 really does the trick and of course intake, header, and exhaust. even something as stupid as a new slave cylinder helps a bit for performace and its only $60. if you change intake go with skunk 2 and replace the gasket with a hondata one off ebay...lowers the temp 5% and if you ever have to take it off it wont stick and wont have to spend hours trying to scrape off the residue
