Default what to do to the ls

ok guys i have a ls integra as my daily driver and my cousin has a spec v and i did just about every bolt on. dc header, aem intake, ur pulleys, thermal exhaust and he can still walk me bad. ok heres my question this is just a daily driver i dont know much about these 4 bangers so far whats on this car is what my cousin told me was the best, i dont want it super fast just like mid to high 13's i have my z06 to do that. now from the people i have talked to i can do a motor swap to a vtec motor or just turbo my ls. now i still need this thing to be reliable but fun, i mean its pretty fun right know just to f*ck around with, but its just to damn slow. just want your opinion to help me decide what i should do.

thanks
joe

he has a spec v sentra. those are i think faster then stock LS tegras. But alot of people i heard that those minor bolt ons like CAI/ exaust header etc dont give any real horspower. and are expensive.
i say have the head polished etc, and have cai exaust and header. cause this will help if u don down the road upgrades like turbo or what not.

i think swapping engine would be a good idea as well. i'd get an engine that has 0 miles on it. along with a tranny and lsd.

Since money doesn't seem like an issue to you (Zo6) turbo your ls, it is the easiest way to hit 13's and it can still be reliable and definite fun car.

terrible advice.

Just get a revhard turbo kit for your car, run the afc hack, have it tuned to a good 12.5:1 a/f and call it a day.

For more info on the afc hack and what it does, check out this link https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=137901

If your goal is 13's it can be done for cheaper than 3-4k, all you need is a descent turbo kit, descent fuel management and around 8-10 psi. Depends on what you buy but you can put together a nice setup for around 3k.

I spent 4k on mine, but my goals were to be able to run with stock z06's

For your goals internals are not needed. Just do a compression test/leak down test make sure your motor is still healthy and boost away.

A stock Ls motor can handle up to around 300 whp if tuned properly.

that little car can handle that....jesus... so what psi would you recommend, so far everyone said turbo was the way to go. so ìm going to look in to that more.

thanks

Psi/Power depends on what kind of fuel management you got with and the capabilities of your tuner.

theres so many different options

Fmu/inline (bandaid, but it will get you by)
Afc hack (no personal experience, but it works for alot of people)
Uderdate(free but requires learning and a tuner)
Hondata
Aem

those are the most common forms of fuel management, the Fmu however keep in mind is a bandaid and if you have the $ to go with something better than by all means do so.

why don't you just buy chaudanova's motor it is a completely built h22 and hes selling for about 7500 I think with a good header and engine managemen that is a 250 whp motor just pm him or do a search for it his name is chaudanova and its all motor so it's more reliable than turbo
