i over heated the motor really bad once and drove it like that for like 10 miles
the needle wasw past H
the bottom rad hose came off the block
i already replaced the head gasket,deck milled the head, and replaced the water pump
im starting to wonder if i warped the cylinder wall and or if a maybe cracked a piston ring
let me know if anyone has had this happen to them

what color smoke?? white?? blue/gray??

 

my guess is a warped head

 

like freshdaily said, what color is the smoke, that can atleastp point us in the right direction

 

ok i fixed the head gasket problem i got it milled but it smokes a blackish gary color
oil im guessing
what could i do to fix this

 

oil would produce blue smoke, sounds like your running rich

white-coolant in cylinder(s)

blue-oil in cylinders

black-too much fuel

 

why would you drive it for 10 miles?
