Default Surging after SK2 IM installed

I have a b18c1 in a 91' CRX. I recently installed a skunk2 pro series IM and since then my motor ALWAYS surges under low throttle (1,300-1,600rpm) and throws a check engine light. I installed all new gaskets, cleaned the flanges well, bypassed the old butterfly vaccume lines and hooked all the sensors up.

I sprayed starting fluid on all the lines and throttle body, as well as where the IM bolts to the head. NO LEAKS!!! WTF???

I ordered a phearable chip for my set-up and the surge/check engine light is still there. My ECU doesn't have the LED light for reading cel's built onto it so I can't check the code. How do I check this ****?

I have searched and I have done all I know. All sensors were functioning before IM install.

If you're absolutely sure you don't have any vacuum leaks, then it sounds like there might be air in your cooling system, causing the idle to surge when the IACV is trying to adjust the idle. I would also doublecheck all your sensor connections as well, since it's easy to mix up things like MAP and TPS plugs. If those check out, rebleed your cooling system and doublecheck for vac leaks.

I will double check all sensors. What color wires are the MAP and TPS sensors?

Mine are yellow/red, green/yellow, red/green. I don't know if they're the same for a CRX.

I'd scrap the manifold but the skunk2 gives me way more clearance then the stock gsr manifold. I'm pissed because my car drives shitty. It's so rough and jerky when i give it throttle at low rpm, I can barley drive in traffic or downtown.

I have one also in my car right now. The idle sometimes bounces and some other times its ok. I changed out the gasket and everything twice. Reseated everything to be sure. Didn't do this on the gsr manifold either. When i set my idle lower it went away more though on the idle screw. I think i just need a tune mainly
